The boss has been doing performance chats now that HR has made her official; my turn this morning. Among other topics was that I may be "assigned" to mentor someone who'll be spending a few weeks in our office (he's touring all sections in the division before going to a staff job). Depending on his experience, I may be the one who gets to help him ejumacated in how we do things. Boss told me this would be "because you did so well with [intern]", which was nice to hear.
