Things have gotten quite itchy around that slash. I ended up getting a Rx for an ointment to apply around but not on the area. It even woke me up at 4:30 this morning, itching so much it almost hurt. Between that and the congested, wheezy inhale, I wondered if I'd have to make the Chief take me to urgent care.
It didn't come to that but I may yet call the advice nurse, again, to see if I should be worried or just need to be patient.
The itch goes all the way up to my jawline and down past my collarbone and out toward my shoulders. That's a lot of area to slime with this ointment. I may end up with grease stains on the V-neck shirts I bought for my recovery, but oh well.
