The rash continues to spread (my face looks kinda scary now) but the steroids have finally kicked in, taking the itch from a 7 down to maybe a 3 or a 4. It still woke me up this morning, but it’s been worse. Talking is gonna be an effort for a while, but swallowing and yawning are back, and laughing no longer hurts. For the first time since my surgery, I don’t feel the need to go to urgent care or even call the advice nurse. Hallelujah!
